Rime of the Ancient Mariner

Or “water, water every where, nor any drop to drink”

Based on Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s “Ryme of the Ancient Mariner” 1798.

Made in three parts. The top two sections are T Material with underglaze colours, gold and platinum lustre. The base section is made with a smooth cran k with the addition of a T Material slip on the top surface painted with underglaze colour. Gold lustre switch. All fired to stoneware.
